A Book Fair
Book fair is the most suitable place to buy and sell books. A fair is useually held in a large open space. They are decorated nicely. In our country, its held in all most all cities and towns. Book fair are now held in district towns also. The two largest book fair are held in Bangladesh. One Ekushey Boi Mela and other Dhaka Book Fair. Ekushey Boi Mela arranged by the Bangla Academy and Dhaka Book Fair arranged by the National Book Centre.
Every year, on the occasion of 21st February, Ekushe Boi Mela held at Bangla Academy. In the Ekushey Boi Mela, hundreds of stalls are set up by the publishers and booksellers to display their books. Different kinds of book such us storybooks, science books, a book of poems, novels is found in a book fair.
People from many places come to Ekushe Boi Mela to buy books. Both male and female and all categories of people gather in Ekushe Boi Mela. Many student come with their teachers and parents. The writers also visit the fair regularly. I saw the students and children to buying books according to their respective choice and taste. Ekushe Boi Mela lasts fot more than a month. Books are sold a lot.
Nowadays, book fair are becoming more and more popular in Bangladesh. A book fair is an important part of education. It also introduces us to our own culture. I have gather immense experience visiting book fair. Every students and every educated person should visit the book fair every year. It makes our life more meanigful.
